School Board
The St. Stephen’s Armenian Elementary School Board is a diverse group of individuals elected from the school community and administration. Board members are often school and alumni parents who have a strong desire to maintain the school’s success and core values, while planning for the future. In collaboration with the Principal, the Board oversees the implementation of the school’s overall mission: to provide an exceptional American education with a strong foundation in Armenian culture and language.
Board responsibilities include
- Strategic and long-term planning
- Approve an annual budget and oversee the finances
- Provide guidance to the school’s committees
- Assess programs, operations and plans to ensure compliance with school policies and local and state regulations
- Lead major fundraising initiatives
