After reviewing local schools' policies and Massachusetts standards, we recognize that travel, though still posing a risk particularly to our unvaccinated students, can be an integral part of our family lives.

At this time, our travel policy will be that any travel by plane, long bus/train ride, or cruise ship requires testing by molecular test (PCR/NAAT) on day 3-5 after return (If this time range falls during Routine COVID Safety Checks at school, that is acceptable). Parents should screen students daily for symptoms 14 days after return and follow our Health & Safety protocols appropriately.

If you feel your exposure was at higher than standard risk (large group gatherings, high risk location, multiple plane transfers, long bus rides, cruise ships, visiting unvaccinated family members etc - see below for safety tips), please consider a one week quarantine upon return, in addition to testing. It is essential that we all take into consideration each other's safety when traveling and upon return so as to keep our small community healthy.
