● Arrival and dismissal will be staggered. Each age group will be given a window of time to arrive.
● A traffic monitor will oversee arrival and dismissal time in the parking lot.
● Parents will be asked to stay in their cars and wait for the monitor to allow them to drop off their children.
● Drop off will take place at the main entrance, parents will not be allowed to walk into the building.
● A one-way flow of traffic will be designated for parents to follow after drop off on the ramp in front of the school.
● There will be lines painted on the floor of the parking lot and the ramp for parents to maintain 6 feet distance during drop off and pick up. If all spots are full parents will be asked to stay in their cars until spaces become available.
● All staff members and parents of students will submit a daily screening attestation form electronically before drop off or prior to entering the building.
● Each classroom teacher will be responsible to make sure that the screening form is submitted by each family before allowing the child to be dropped off at the entrance.
● The classroom teacher or the assistant will meet the children at the main entrance and escort them after drop off to their classrooms.
● There will be staggered dismissal times for each group at designated exits
● There will be 6 classrooms and six groups of children who will stay together in their designated classrooms and with the same group at all times.
● Outdoor time will be scheduled for each age group at different times. The playground space will be divided into two sections to allow for two groups to go out at the same time.
● Teachers will plan games and activities that will allow no more than two children to play together at the same time.
● The classroom spaces will be divided into sections by moving the furniture around, by using floor tapes, providing space mats for each activity to give the children guidance to stay in the designated spaces to play and do their activities.
● Each child will have their own individual box of materials and supplies to use. There will be no sharing of toys or supplies. Extra amounts of materials and duplicates have been purchased to fulfill each child’s needs. Each group will have two teachers who will stay with the same group throughout the day.
● Having a reduced number of children in each group will allow us to assign seats for the children to keep them 6 feet apart during lunch time.
● All staff members completed the required Reopening Health & Safety Training

Health and Safety

● The whole school building, bathrooms, rugs and floors will be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis using enhanced protocols.
● All high touch surfaces including entrance door handles, railings and high touch surfaces will be sanitized frequently during the day, after arrival, after each group’s use of the area.
● The Art room on the second floor will be used to isolate a sick or a symptomatic child or other individuals until they are picked up from the school.
● The assistant teacher or a substitute teacher will stay with the child until the parent arrives.
● The adult who is supervising the sick child will follow PPE protocols to minimize exposure.
● Parents will receive a clear and detailed plan via email of the protocols we will be implementing before the start of the school year.
